Because my life is__________.
Finished a thing today!
Specs:
The pattern is Spiral Tablecloth from a book called Knitting and Tea by a Jane Gottelier. (Link to book for purchase on amazon)
The yarn is Caron Simply Soft Light(an acrylic yarn) in White.
it’s about 2 feet in diameter
I keep staring at it on my floor where it’s blocking and i’m so mesmerized
This, once blocked, will go on my nightstand.
Technically it isn’t quite finished cause I’m supposed to stitch beads on the points, but I don’t have beads yet so maybe I’ll go check out the bead shoppe in town tomorrow after class.
I have decided that Lace is one of my absolute favorite things to knit. It doesn’t require any extra needles I think is the reason. Plus it looks REALLY impressive and stuff. But then, all knitting looks pretty impressive and it’s like nah man it’s only like two stitches don’t even trip. ALSO I’m super happy to finally get something done out of one of my pattern books, instead of the bajillion and a half that I download from the ~internet~ SO FINALLY a year after Idris surprised me with the book, I have completed a project! Here’s to many more :D
